We're pretty excited as we got our Covid 19 vaccinations today ('cos we're in the 60+ group)
That aside, today we thought we would talk a bit about Social Media because we get so many questions come through to us asking us for the latest tips, tricks and strategies
To be honest we definitely don't have all the answers but we do get a good feel for what's going on given the mentorship and mastermind groups we belong to
For instance one question raised was "will social media ban affiliate marketing"
Especially with all the recent news as Tik Tok banning network marketing and MLM from their platform...
So that means that even if you're promoting great products and want to share them with the world on Tik Tok you'll be faced with a big NO
Now if like us you're in the affiliate marketing world and have great products and programs to promote that will help someone grow their business or increase their wealth online will we be next?
Honestly, we don't know but the truth is that a single decision from a social media platform could shut your business model down instantly...
It wasn't so long ago for instance that Facebook no longer allowed direct affiliate links in their ads and even began disapproving ads that directly linked to Amazon for example
It caused quite a shake up from the affiliate marketing world and forced many to change their tactics
So why are we telling you this?
It's because we think that it's extremely important to makes sure you never lose an opportunity to grow your business
And whilst we don't believe affiliate marketing will ever be banned from Social Media the way we build our business is important
The way to do that is to grow your BRAND and EMAIL LIST and not just be looking to generate quick sales
We know we're all in this to build a business and earn additional revenue online so it's tempting to go for the quick sale...
BUT if you focus on growing your email list and building a following based on your brand and what you teach people you can always promote your products down the road and they stay 100% compliant no matter what
So if you're promoting your chosen program, instead on jumping on social media and pushing your affiliate link to the sales page, build a brand around for example Digital Marketing Strategies or Ways To Make Money Online or as we do How To Generate An Income In Retirement
Whatever you're really passionate about 💗
Then as you're building your email list, you can promote your chosen program and/or products as much as you like.
If you say focused on providing value and building an email list based on your brand and what you're able to share with the world, you'll stay safe and compliant on every platform
Once your followers are on your email list THEN you'll be able to promote any offers you like whether its an affiliate, make money online, MLM, health and fitness or any of the products that sometimes get flagged on social media.
So the message for today is this
If you want to stay safe from the algorithm updates and iron clad your online business the make sure you're promoting your brand your content, your value FIRST
Then build your email list and promote the actual products you're selling there.
You'll find the QUALITY of your subscribers are much higher this way as well and you'll truly be building a business online
