Hi Chris and Susan here...
Â
We hope you've enjoyed our Draw A Line In The Sand Series (if you've missed any of them they're at the end of this email so you can catch up) and thank you for the positive feedback and telling us how much you've enjoyed reading them...
Â
It means a lot
Â
We do spent a good amount of time researching and writing both educational and entertaining emailsÂ
Â
So here we are 11 weeks into the lockdown and we wanted to ask you what your biggest accomplishment has been during that time
Â
We've been keeping a journal because when our time is done on this earth we want our grand-children and their children to be able to read a personal account of life during that time versus the "mad media" version
Truthfully, the lockdown has affected all of us
And we've all had the same choice:
âHow do I make the best of this situation?â
For us, that meant getting back into shape by walking daily, ordering some new books we always meant to get...
...and continuing to grow a successful business
In fact we were reminded by good old Facebook that it was ten years ago today that we stepped onto a London stage at the request of our then mentor to share our story and why we wanted to start our online business
You can read it here and help us celebrate
Getting back to to YOU...
The answer will be different for everyone
And at the end of the day, the way you answer that question tends to define you as a person.
Because COVID-19 will NOT be the last obstacle you have to overcome you can be certain (sorry to burst your bubble but we've been through a recession and personally seen the effect that had)
If youâre lucky, there will be many, many more challenges ahead of you
Yes if you're lucky
It sounds weird to say thatÂ
But itâs the way you respond to those situations that will ultimately determine if your time spent on this planet was a smashing success⌠or just ________________
Well that's for you to say
So tell us...
âWhatâs your biggest accomplishment since entering lockdown?â
Do share your wins (big or small)
We're certain you had some
For some of you survival has been your biggest achievement
We're sure that many of you must have written the ambitious 'to-do lists' for the quarantine and havenât done anything from it
That is fine
You got here safely, that is an achievement too.
So take a deep breath and keep calmÂ
Because, in todayâs world survival is victory!
Have a great weekend
Stay home, stay safe and virtually hug your loved ones
See you next time...
Â
