What a week it's been
As much as we love working from home, and have been at it for a long time, we'll be the first to say...
It's not easy
And sometimes you feel like you're spinning plates!
You've got all kinds of distractions, responsibilities, and "urgent" demands pulling at you...
Plus a never ending flow of emails and social media notifications to weed through...
And if you have kids running around the house and are home schooling it's a whole another level of distraction (that's luckily not on our agenda)
In our case we're taking care of an elderly parent with dementia
Not to mention trying to manage all the different moving parts of your business...
- Like connecting with new prospects
- Writing social media posts and emails
- Creating ads, blog posts, and videos
- Checking in with your team
- Catching up on some training.
That's a lot of plates to spin.
Which is why a week can go by, and you feel like you're working around the clock, but it doesn't look like the business is moving forward.
That's the reality of building a home-based business.
In the last two months, I think a lot of people are discovering that it's actually pretty hard to stay productive at home.
But the good news is that it doesn't have to be.
Here's the solution...
When you have multiple things to juggle, like we all do, and you still have to get things done... you need an effective DMO (Daily Mode of Operation)
And we do our utmost to adhere to it taking into account the unexpected
