Hi Chris and Susan Here...
As I write this to you I'm alone in the office writing to you as Chris is out at the office of one of our long term clients from way back when we were running our management consultancy business... the only one we couldn't give up... or is it the other way round!
I'm doing our business accounts...
Anyway
A story to share with you...
The weekend was manic as we're trying to pack up our home and at the same time trying to find a new one...
Take care of Mum who is pretty poorly right now
Get the year end accounts done...
We're not looking for the sympathy vote here just sharing that we are normal just like you
We have challenges...
We often times feel overwhelmed and
YES!
We sometimes feel like quitting
TRUTHFULLY
But that's not on the agenda
But it does make us human...
And we do understand what it means to feel it's all too much
Especially when you're just starting out, juggling a full time job, taking care of family and loved ones
And you really REALLY want to make it in the online world
One of our friends reached out to us on Facebook just this morning talking about this exact issue so we shared with him that actually what he was feeling was quite normal...
We all go through it in some way, shape or form especially when juggling a new business, the demands of a job and of course family life...
And all around us we see others having huge success and appearing not to have a care in the world...
And it occurred to us you might like to read the article we shared with him
So here it is...
Being overwhelmed is not a fact -- it's a state of consciousness that limits your freedom and happiness.
It requires a shift in perspective.
Bring yourself back to the present moment.
Remember that you have a choice about the way you want to feel.
We hope you find the article of value and suggest you bookmark it for a time in the future because trust us you might need it one day!
Will be back tomorrow talking about plans for 2020 and what the future holds for you if you choose to run with us
Chris and Susan
