If we're just meeting for the first time Chris and I have been showing people 50+ in or approaching retirement how to make money online for 14 years and we're passionate about better health and wellness alongside being financially secure and creating a lifestyle business that gives us choices for our retirement
We love all things digital marketing and sharing what works with our clients, friends and followers 😃
Hi Chris and Susan here...
Well
what a weekend that was
The weather here on the Costa del Sol was perfect and we got to spend some time on the beach 🏖️ just chilling out and enjoying being beside the sea
Meanwhile our mentor was in London with her family to see Taylor Swift at the 02 Arena (we were due to meet up but ended up here in Spain)
By all accounts and the pictures we've seen it was a pretty
amazing concert
Much to learn from Taylor Swift as you are about to find out 😀
But
here's the thing that's worth thinking about to start it off...
She's been learning her craft since she was tiny
At 11
he begged her parents to take her to Nashville to show record producers her demo tape and give her a record deal (they rejected her!)
She learned the guitar at 12
Today she is where she is because of perseverance, learning her craft, being obsessed and never giving up!
The first time she performed publicly there were just a handful of people there...
A little different to what's been going on in the UK this weekend
The thing is that Taylor LOVES her audience and they LOVE her back
Moral of the story
No one starts out great
No one starts out with a huge following
No one starts out earning
millions
Taylor started with nothing and is now worth 1.1 BILLION dollars
Keep going!
Have a goal and a
plan
Build your own "swifties"
Learn your craft obsessively
Show up consistently and build those relationships with your audience
Stay in your "lane" and go ALL IN
✴️DISCLAIMER...
I got the facts from the internet so if they are not "exactly right" do let us know
Also do you have a favourite "Swiftie" tune?
Mine (Susan) is "You Belong With Me"
If you don't yet have a plan and you just want to have a chat let's organise a call and talk it through so you can move ahead
For example had a lovely call today with a lady who reached out on Facebook and wanted to know what tips and strategies we could share about starting out as an affiliate marketer...
Nothing to sell just an opportunity to help
Why?
Because we remember what it was like and the people who helped us
When you serve without expecting any reward then you can feel good about yourself
Don't forget to share your favourite "Swiftie" song
And finally from her best of the best quotes
"If you are lucky enough to find something that you love, and you have a shot
at being good at it, don't stop, don't put it down"
We're off out now for our evening walk along the beach
Have a great week ahead and we'll see you in the next edition of the Lifestyle Business Newsletter from here in Spain
