I was reading an email this morning from Mel Robbins

She's the author of The 5 Second Rule 

I've talked about her book in a previous email 

Her mantra is 5,4,3,2,1,GO!

She was talking with Dr. Adam Alter, one of the top psychology experts and professors in the world and he asked this question

"Imagine, it’s the end of your life.

You've hopefully lived a very fulfilling, long life.

You get to that point, and then someone says,

'Would you like 20 extra years?'

Would you take it?"

Of course you would take it.

But what you don't realize is that you can get those extra 20 years.

You just need to get serious about the #1 thing that is wasting your time:

According to Dr. Alter's research...

You will spend 20 years of your life just scrolling on your phone

Ouch!!!

Which brings us nicely to something that's hot on our mind 

And that's the time we waste thinking about stuff without ever taking action

Whether that's fear of starting something new (been there and done that so we get it)

Or something else 

One of our mentors once said to us when we bemoaned people saying they wanted to do the thing (whatever that was) then never doing it

He said just tell them this

Decide it's Yes I'll do it and DO IT! or

Decide it's NO and stop torturing yourself

Because procrastination is a terrible waste of time

Obviously you're receiving our newsletter because you had those thoughts once upon a time 

And then maybe something changed?

Whatever we hope sharing this short story from Mel brings you back to the present

Start doing something that your future self will thank you for
