Hi Chris and Susan here...
Writing to you from the UK on a beautiful sunny autumn day
We got back from Spain
last night and it was raining (as it usually does in the UK)
But we woke up this morning to sunshine and lovely to see all the autumn colours
There are things you have to compromise on when you move to a sunny country of course
It's all a balance
Today we thought we would talk about never giving up
Trust us many times we've been in a position when we've wanted to
But our determination has always been our saving
grace
We've been pushing ourselves pretty hard the past few months (life is not all sunshine and roses is it!)
Though we're super grateful for the life and opportunities we've had so far
Finally it does all seem to be coming together
After a number of tries we did finally get our Spanish visa application submitted so we an move ahead with plans to move abroad at
last
And meanwhile we've had a number of projects to tie up and they've presented a number of challenges
But every now and again you have to STOP and focus on what's important
The things that matter
And never to give up on things that are important
While we were away in Spain we watched a number of documentaries on Netflix but one film really stood out
It was the film NYAD
It's the true story of Sixty-four-year-old marathon swimmer Diana Nyad and her attempts to become the first
person ever to swim from Cuba to Florida.
It's a great film - do watch it
Her three key messages after completing the swim following several failed attempts areare
- We should never ever give
up
- You're never to old to chase your dream
- It looks like a solitary sport, but it is a team
When we make a decision to do something we often think we need to do it alone...
But it's not the case
We couldn't have done what we've done alone in our online business
And we would always recommend you choose to do something where there is support and encouragement from a
mentor or a there's a team environment
Because we're human and we need it
This week we hosted the team call for our health and wellness business
There were 150 people on
that call
We love teaching and training and sharing our knowledge
Every week there are at least this many people on the call
Most companies struggle to have that
many people attend a company call but we have those numbers on our personal team call every week!
We were sharing how they could create a give-away (lead magnet) to help them
get more leads into their business
