Hi Chris and Susan here...
We're writing to you today from The Algarve in Portugal
We're spending the weekend with our best friends
and enjoying some sunshine, beach walks and time together
Amazingly it's only 5 hours drive door to door from our home in Spain to their home her in Armacao de Pera which is Central Algarve
We stopped off in Tavira on our way to have lunch recalling the memories of living there for a month this time last year
Which brings us to the subject of courage 💪
Earlier in the week we had
watch the Netflix documentary "Call To Courage" featuring Brené Brown based on one of her Ted Talks viewed millions of times around the world

Having watched the Netflix movie it made us think about courage ourselves

It takes real courage to move to a new country
It takes courage to learn a new language
It takes real courage to start a business in your 50’s or 60’s (any age actually)
The pandemic really changed our perspective on life
To be honest we were ready to retire
Everything had gone pear shaped
But as entrepreneurs we knew we couldn’t give up on our dreams quite yet
We always wanted to live somewhere warm where the sun shines most days
We thought about Portugal 🇵🇹 but couldn’t find what we wanted
So we settled for Spain 🇪🇸
And yesterday our visa applications were
submitted so we can be true digital nomads
Now we can focus on what’s important for us
They do say variety is the spice of life so here’s to variety and excitement in
life
If you want to change your life you have to be prepared to change…
To be courageous
Because everyone deserves the retirement they dreamed of
Free from financial stress
And healthy enough to enjoy it
