We hope you had a wonderful weekend
We're back in sunny England after
spending almost a month in Spain
Not a vacation
Although we did take time to enjoy exploring new places
Meeting up with friends
Now we're waiting for our visa so that we can go and live in Spain and have the retirement lifestyle we always dreamt of
We won't be retiring as such because we really enjoy what we do and have so much more to accomplish
Plus to be honest we would be really miserable if we didn't have something to do that we enjoyed
And the income is what gives us the lifestyle we want
But we want to be very clear here
None of this came easy
When times were hard and we were up against it we had to make some tough decisions
We didn't know if the online world was going to work out or not
But we knew if we didn't try then we would never know
People comment on our pictures and see our life on social media and that's what we want as it's our marketing message
But it's also not some hype
We worked hard to get to where we are today
We didn't stumble on
success
We didn't find some magic formula
We did ONE thing over and over an over again
Until it worked
That one thing was our COMMITMENT
Commitment to getting the skills we needed
Commitment to
doing what it takes to be successful
Never giving up

These are the things going through our minds right now as we look at starting a new adventure in a new country
And we're no spring chickens either
But we do need to be resilient whatever our age
To adapt to a changing world and find ways to support our own economy
Today with all the resources available to us we can become and do anything we want
My Mum went to U3A (University of the Third Age) and learnt computing in her 70's
In her 80's we bought her an ipad as she loved to read and travelled extensively
There really is so much at your fingertips if you want it enough
