Hope you've had a happy, healthy and successful weekend

Writing this to you from our new home - a retirement apartment in Surrey in the UK not far from where we lived before

Our friends call it our "granny flat" 🤣

It's quite small but it suits us perfectly as we're not intending to live our lives here

As you probably know if you follow us on social media or read our emails, we're planning to move to Portugal next year

Isn't it interesting how your plans change over the years

Back in 2005 when we purchased a run down old house and barn in the French Alps we always imagined we would retire there...

It was the reason we started our online business after all!

Why we chose what is referred to as a "lifestyle business"

That's one that adjusts to a person's lifestyle so that they can live their life as they like...

The freedom to work on the projects you want to work on even if they're extremely varied

All of your passions and interests can be utilised an monetised as part of a lifestyle business

We're absolutely convinced that for the majority of people with entrepreneurial aspirations, you're better off starting a lifestyle business than pursuing a traditional start up

Thanks to it's flexibility, you can run a lifestyle business anywhere - a cafe, a tropical island...you name it!

As long as you have a laptop, reliable WiFi, proven skills (or willing to learn some new ones) and heaps of passion anyone can be a lifestyle entrepreneur...

There are tons of options

From affiliate marketing, network marketing and bogging to eCommerce and consulting these location-independent small businesses are just the ticket to achieving the work-life balance you dream of

And every niche within those alone has multiple opportunities for profit 🏦

You just need to try them to find out what works best for you

Or ask someone who will advise you

There's no better way to learn how to run a lifestyle business than looking at the entrepreneurs who've been through it all (the good, the bad and the ugly)
