So after the last few years not being able to do what we love and meeting up with friends around the world and putting our retirement dreams on hold, it feels quite strange to be making plans that include travel. We feel like we have to learn how to do it all as if we're brand new, as if we've never travelled before.
But we're off to our first international event since the pandemic began and very much looking forward to meeting our friends and business partners in New York in June
The truth of the matter is that some things have become so ingrained into our thinking over the past couple of years that they're now on our mental lists of things "everyone knows"
And yet, what we all think everyone knows is not always consistent, and it doesn't always make sense.
Everyone knows that retirement is on the horizon and that money may be a problem but yet they bury their heads in the sand and hope that "one day" they will find the solution
Trouble is time runs out doesn't it...
And we find we haven't done those things we promised ourselves we would
