Â
Hi Chris and Susan here...
Â
Welcome to the New Year and New You
Â
That's our theme for 2022 and our word for 2022 is re-start
Â
If the idea of making New Year’s resolutions fills you with dread, consider ditching the tradition as we have...
Â
Science suggests most people who set resolutions each year don’t stick with them and mental health experts say other strategies for adopting healthier habits work better
Â
So here we are the first week of 2022 starting as we mean to go on…
Â
No New Year's Resolutions!!!
Â
Just a commitment to our mental health and wellness and to helping others achieve theirs
If the past two years have taught us anything it's that our mental and physical wellness are valuable, delicate, and always shifting…⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the new year ahead, we challenge you to prioritise your wellness by:
Â
- Giving yourself grace through mental and physical shifts
- Honouring what makes you feel good, inside and out!
- Staying grateful
- Boosting your wellness
Success in any endeavour depends on you taking care of yourself firstÂ
2022 is the year of the NEW YOU
Â
How you start the New Year, is how you'll likely finish the year
Â
If you’re not happy with the story you’re telling people, then it’s time to tell a new story
Â
If you’re not happy in your job, relationship, financial state, etc. then it’s time to admit it and then take the necessary steps to change what needs changed. Contrary to what you may believe, you’re not stuck where you are
Â
If you feel stuck, it’s only because you’re telling the same old story over and over, but at any time you can create a new story. You can take full responsibility for your life from this day forward and change the script.
Â
Sure, it can be fearful to think about change. It’s scary to think about change
Â
We should know we wrote the book "The Mindset Shift - From Employee to Home Business Entrepreneur" in 2013 charting our journey to that date from quitting our jobs and starting an online business in 2010
Â
And here we are todayÂ
Â
Not motivation gurus or life coaches or anything like that
Â
Just giving you the benefit of our real life experiences and sharing our knowledge and what we've learned along the way so you don't have to make some of the mistakes we did
Â
Look...
Â
Sometimes people get comfortable in their fears and shy away from creativity, risk, adventure, and change..
Â
The problem with this is that it leads to apathy, boredom, frustration, and stifles the spirit
Â
You’re not bound by your past.Â
You don’t have to continue on the same mediocre path.
You don’t have to beat yourself up about past decisions or setbacks. Dare to embrace fear and dream a new dream.Â
Feel the fear and do it anyway!
That’s called courage. Allow courage to rise within you and declare that you’re going to make some changes for the better in your life...
Â
Not settle for status quo any longer!
Â
You’re going to draw a line in the sand
Â
You’re going to get serious about change!
Â
Today is your day
Â
Declare a new life!
Â
Declare that you’re going to begin telling a new story
Â
It may not be joining us on the path that we've chosen now but whatever it is commit to doing itÂ
Â
Write down a list of your goals.
- What do you want?
- More money / financial security?
- A career path you actually like?
- More freedom?
- Start your own business?Â
Write it all down. Then make a plan as to how you will work your way toward the manifestation of your goals.Â
Wherever you are right now and no matter what your past has been like, things can change.
Life can change.
You can change.
Create a new story and begin taking steps toward your new goals. You can experience more peace and joy along your journey.
And, it’s what you deserve.
Love 💗 Chris & Susan
